Among Sustainability Managers: Engaging Stakeholders
May 12, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm€115
How to work with internal and external stakeholders to implement your sustainability strategies?
From on-premise recycling policies to developing new standards for decision making, Sustainability (or CSR) Managers have a lot on their plate. They are asked to consistently be at the forefront of evolving social and environmental requirements in the industry, staying ahead of developments in diverse countries and supply chains. Yet they also have to work with all layers within their company to meet financial and ESG objectives laid on by stakeholders.
To put in place successful strategies addressing the complex challenges that fashion companies face, Sustainability Managers require a broad understanding of the playing field and a wide range of skills. As technologies evolve and pioneers introduce new business models, they also need to keep learning and stay abreast of best practices in social and environmental sustainability. A successful Sustainability Manager is one that, equipped with this knowledge and a strong vision for strategic change, can take along internal partners to put in place new systems and processes.
Are you a Sustainability Manager and recognise the challenges above? Join us for the second in a series of online collaborative workshops to:
- Discover strategies to gain support from colleagues, management and external stakeholders to translate your company’s vision into impactful actions
- Exchange ideas and experiences with other sustainability managers on how to keep track of, and sift through, evolving legal, technological, and industry developments regarding sustainability in the fashion industry
- Connect with sustainability managers from other (forward-thinking) fashion and retail organizations
