Fashion Consumption Futurists
June 10, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

What will the fashion economic systems of tomorrow look like?
As the world is looking at circular models as a way to curb emissions and waste, the fashion industry is increasingly confronted with an over-arching question. Can we sustain the economic consumption-based business models upon which the industry has thrived until now? With environmental concerns at the forefront, today’s consumers are re-evaluating the way they buy, use, care and pass on their clothes.
From shared wardrobes and resell platforms, to lifetime repair services, pioneering fashion business are responding with novel ways to engage consumers looking for a more sustainable way to consume fashion.
For our Round Table ‘Fashion Consumption Futurists‘, we will bring together a curated group of leaders and experts who are actively rethinking the consumption- and business models of the future. In an atmosphere of openness and non-competitiveness, we will discuss the following questions:
- How are evolving needs and desires changing peoples’ relationship to the clothes they wear?
- In which ways are brands and retailers pressed to rethink the relationship they have with their customers beyond a single point of purchase?
- What are the main pillars upon which companies should build their missions for future success?
Our round table panelists will be invited personally. If you are developing a new business model for the fashion industry or actively rethinking the future of consumption, we would be happy to hear from you.
