TaskLab is a creative lab collaborating with global brands, textile suppliers, farmers, and artisans to develop sustainable raw materials and create sustainable supply chains, facilitating the shift towards the circular economy. Coty Jeronimus is the founder and CEO of TaskLab and has over 25 years of experience working in the textile industry as a buyer, sourcing, and product manager. Developing awareness and analysing the challenges sustainability poses for companies, public organisations, and NGOs is core to Tasklab’s work. Finding the solutions for these challenges allows for real shifts to occur within the value chain, generating further opportunities between the various stakeholders. Her expertise is broad and centered on developing responsible wool value chains and certifications, sustainable cashmere, yak, and camel fibers; nettle and organic cotton; leather production, standards, and certifications; ethical, responsible sourcing and manufacturing with a focus on the circular economy.
Inspired by her travels, a passion for wool, and her work with local farmers and artisans in developing countries has led Coty to establish her brand of super quality hand-spun wool for knitters, Nomadnoos.
