The Blue suit has taken our love for denim and made a sophisticated, hand crafted, capsule collection to be worn day or evening that will look good for many, many seasons to come. Whether worn as separates or combined the look is tailored, clean cut and fresh. Produced in Italy by a small family run factory, each jacket is sewn by a single dressmaker using traditional techniques ensuring a quality that is not often seen today the Blue suit consciously chooses to work with natural, organic and/or recycled materials, avoiding petroleum-based fabrics such as polyester. Whilst denim is known to use a lot of water, water wastage is reduced by 75% as denim is sprayed rather than using the traditional washing technique. The fabrics are GOTS certified and recycled materials are used for labelling and buttons. As much as the Blue suit want those who buy their clothes to feel and look good, they ensure that those who make their clothes are working under secure working conditions with fair wages and regular hours. This is slow fashion at its best.
